Ms. Pierce holds an Associates of Arts degree, Child Development from Santa Rosa Junior College and is a graduate of the Hutchins School of Liberal Arts, Sonoma State University.

Ms. Pierce has been an instructor and administrator at local private institutions, 1984 - present. She holds a community college lifetime credential since 1981. She has over 24 years of teaching and administrative experience. She has owned and operated JBASS & Associates since 1983. She established this school campus in 1991.

Anne is a published poet and writes human-interest stories. She is grandmother to seven children with whom she participates as school volunteer and family outing enthusiast. She is a recipient of the United States Presidential Honorary Service award for outstanding service to youth. She is a past president and honorary service member of the National Parents Teachers Association. Anne currently participates as a Partner for Family Education with the National Department of Education, Washington DC. She is an active member of CAPPS California Association for Private Postsecondary Schools, CARRP California Association of Rehabilitation and Retraining Professionals, A charter member of the Rohnert Park Kiwanis and belongs to local Chambers of Commerce.
